I would like to thank Mandy Smart for the care & support she has given my wife . Mandy has always been there to support my wife when I found it difficult . Mandy always shows empathy and I’m very glad to have her support . A massive thank you to this very special lady .

Since the first time I met Mandy she placed my mind at ease and was extremely helpful with any questions I ask. Mandy is always welcome at my home. If not face to face Mandy is always available on the phone.

Nothing could be improved as Mandy does her job so well.
I feel very relaxed in her company which gives me the confidence to ask questions.
Mandy is always professional in her manner and is very approachable.

I would like to say a huge thank you to this very special lady . Through Mandy’s advice & support I have started stoma irrigation. At first I was really anxious about the whole procedure but with Mandy’s encouragement & expertise, I am now completely confident & able to carry this procedure out . The freedom irrigation has given me is immense & I can’t thank her enough . Before irrigation I had ended up in A & E with a blockage which is both very painful & extremely scary After this Mandy suggested stoma irrigation to hopefully avoid this happening again . This was the turning point of my new life with a stoma . It gave me a sense of control and independence. Thank you Mandy Smart your help & support both medically & emotionally has made my life so much easier .

I have been a qualified nurse for 30 years, working as a Specialist Nurse for the last 10 years in Stoma Care, Urology and Functional Bowel Issues. This has given me a wealth of expert knowledge in Specialist Practice.
I have worked in the NHS, Private and Community Settings. This enables me to offer high quality individualised holistic patient care. Acting with care and empathy and treating everyone with dignity and respect.
I work in the Birmingham area supporting Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust and Birmingham Heartlands NHS Trust supporting NHS staff and District Nursing Services. Providing a seamless transition from hospital to home.
My proudest achievement is being nominated and receiving a Florence Nightingale Award and for also being given a Nurse of the Year Award.
